Refund policy
Returns
Because I'm a small business, my return policy lasts fourteen (14) days. If more than fourteen (14) days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately I can’t offer you a refund.
To be eligible for a return, the painting must be in the same condition that you received it. If the original packaging isn't protective & safe anymore, you must ensure the painting is fully protected.
The following goods are not eligible for return:
- Gift cards
- Commission / custom work
- Downloadables
In order to begin your return, you must first notify me via email (info@elisacapitanio.com). Please do not send your purchase back without informing me.
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, I will send you an email to notify you that I have received your returned item. I will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days (depending on your payment method).
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, as it may take some time before your refund is officially processed. Next contact your bank.
There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact me at info@elisacapitanio.com
Exchanges
Unfortunately, I do not accept exchanges.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, I will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.
Return Shipping
To return your painting, please email me and I will give you the appropriate address for the return shipping.
You are responsible for paying for your own return shipping costs. The original shipping costs are non-refundable.
As I can’t guarantee that I will receive your returned item, please take care when shipping. If you are shipping an item worth over 50 Euro, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. If you choose to send your item with tracking, please send me the tracking information as well.
