Why Sponges?
I started using sponges a bit by chance, just because I wanted to try something new. And then - because I loooove gradients - decided to stick to them to recreate the magic of the sky and transition colours and elements.

You can read more about my sponge journey here.

How do you work?
I listen to music and sip a lot of tea while creating art, and my process is colour led. Usually when I start working on an artwork I already know what colours and in what amounts I'm going to use.
And then I let the shape of the sponge lead me in the creation.

What medium do you use?
Acrylics are my go to medium when it comes down to sponge work.
I have worked with all sort of mediums and love experimenting with new materials. Keep an eye on the blog for more insights!

How can I be the first to know when new paintings are available?
Make sure you follow me on Instagram. Instagram is the first place where I share my new experiments, ideas and new art.
And then you can sign up to my Newsletter

How does my painting come shipped?
- Small paintings are wrapped in protective paper and shipped in secure heavyweight cardboard envelopes.
- Large paintings and canvases are wrapped in protective paper and bubble wrap or similar and shipped in secure cardboard postal packs.

If you purchase more than one painting, they will be shipped together in one pack.

All orders are shipped through Irish Post.

Does my painting come framed?

Art on paper does not come framed, unless specified otherwise in the product page..
I do tend to prefer to not frame artworks on paper before shipping (shipping glass is always a bit of a worry), but if you want me to take care of the frame, I'm happy to.
Some artworks on canvas are framed, some others are not. Always make sure you check images and details in product page.

Do you do commissions?
I love to work on commissions.

Yes!

How to care for your painting over time?
When you buy art from me you'll receive specific instruction with your new artwork so you know exactly what to do and what to expect.

However, the general rules are:
- do not expose the artwork to direct sunlight
- protect art on paper with a frame and a glass or plexiglass front cover
- do not use any water/chemicals on the artwork
